A cup of diced watermelon and one large apple provide about 42 percent of the daily vitamin A intake requirements for women, or 33 percent of the intake requirements for men.

Looks like I might be better off eating both. It will be a challenge to one eat 1 cup of watermelon, but I think I'm up to it...........maybe. ;)

Many of the books I've been reading on the subject say a person can eat pretty much everything in moderation. I think that is the trick. Most people don't understand what a "serving size" is, so they overdo it and eat too much. I might be wrong, and please, anyone correct me if I am, but most people would be healthier if they simply cut their food intake by 1/2.

Another thing I do is take a daily multi-vitamin.

This is such an informative thread. Thanks for starting it Josh.
