| | | There is no question about it. Drugs get approved by the FDA when they never should. How many tv commercials have you seen where the drug being pushed has the first 10 seconds talking about how wonderful it is, followed by 40 seconds of the side effects and then the last 10 seconds of how life changing, in a very positive way, that this incredible drug is for you. Of course the video portion is nothing but beautiful scenery, fun times with the grandkids, romping, happy golden retrievers, etc., etc. It's like shaking hands with a valued friend while they are slapping you in the face with the other hand.
As usual, money is behind everything that gets passed by the FDA. I'm still relatively healthy but I've decided that I will never take any of these drugs and will instead take my chances with diet and exercise. If that doesn't work, than so be it. |
