The market usually does not care about which party or who is the president unless he blows up the world, which unfortunately some Republican Presidents tend to do. Bush went to Iraq, Trump so far just cusses at Asia including his verbal exchange with North Korea. The market normally rallies more under the Democrats, even though they are assumed to be socialist. They are bought by the big technology Silicon Valley types. That is because Silicon Valley happens to be located in CA, and CA is a very blue state. So they buy Democrats. A technology rally means SP rally too. Reagan was the last Republican President under who the market did very well.
