There was a very short piece recently in IBD's To Make A Long Story Short. Headlined "Internet Meets Wireless; A $19.2 Bil Market In ' 02"
Excerpt: << The North American market for equipment and software that connects wireless users to the Internet will grow from $1.3 bil. in 1998 to $19.2 bil. in 2002, says a study by Killen and Associates. That's a compound annual growth rate of 71%. .........>>

That is just the N.A. market. I follow the reasoning that wireless (because of heavy investment costs of building new infrastructure) could be relatively more important for developing areas.

Question: What are the best plays for this area??? QCOM??? ATI??? What are the best PURE plays???
Regards and thanx in advance.
