Rand also said the government can't lie to the people. Republicans lie all the time. Their tax cut was really debt and debt is future taxes plus interest. The fact that being dumb is now common in the gop and in American business isn't shocking. It's where we've been going for a very long time. We didn't get to $21 trillion of debt because there are fiscal conservatives in the gop. We got there because they're tax cutters who create debt and destroy countries.
