84 million pre-diabetic Americans is epidemic. Hopefully public awareness will continue to grow to fight this metabolic disease. Some of the worst offenders to public nutrition are breakfast cereals that are loaded with sugar. Btw, it was Dr. John Harvey Kellogg that invented corn flakes, but it was his younger brother Will Keith Kellogg that added sugar to increase sales.
