If the money was paid out of campaign funds it could be a violation. OTOH. No DNC, Hillary, Clinton foundation, investigation is baffling.

At any rate Mueller had to convince a judge there was criminal activity to get the seizure warrant. But that might have just been a ploy to get the stormy data or even trumps financial data. This is how the FBI works. They bust the door down and grab everything they can. The exempt dems revel in it.
