This calling liberals elite is nonsense.

Liberals are not elite, they are more aware, and so their ideas are more sophisticated.

And that sophistication seems to intimidate the less aware, so they call them elite.

If the less aware would watch a bit less sports and read a few more books they wouldn't be so intimidated.

Speaking during March 1970 in favor of a U.S. Supreme Court nominee, Senator Roman L. Hruska of Nebraska said:

So what if he is mediocre? There are a lot of mediocre judges and people and lawyers. They are entitled to a little representation, aren't they? We can't have all Brandeises, Cardozos, and Frankfurters and stuff like that there.

Shockingly, the speech failed to persuade Senator Hruska's colleagues, and the nominee withdrew.

Hillary not an elite? At times Hillary clearly insulted people from working class areas of the US. She also clearly mistakenly just ignored many of the states which were crucial for her election - she lost to Trump for Gods sake! How could anyone do that? It is more kind to call her an elite than it is to call her just plain dumb. Annnnd, I don't think she is dumb.
