Yeah, we actually have one about 1/2 mile from here, we drop paper off there all the time.

A lot of these drives are so old they don't even have SATA interfaces. But some are pretty new SATA drives taken out of RAID arrays. I keep thinking I may repurpose some of them but what do you do with 1TB these days?

Also, a lot of them are Seagates, which for the last several years have had horrible failure rates -- one model at 30% premature.

I have a stack of brand new Seagate 500GB drives we took out and replaced with SSDs in new computers. I've recently switched to Intel i5 NUC computers for workstations and I doubt I'll ever order another spinning HD.
