Book: Warren Buffett's Ground Rules Fidelity Investments found that their best performing portfolio's were the ones that people had forgot about. It baffles me that people are in still in the market for the short term. Maybe it's the get rich quick appeal of trading or bull market fever. However, all you have to do is look at a DJIA / S&P 500 chart for the past 30,10,5 or even 1 year(s) and see that the trend of the chart is a positive upwards trend. Buying and holding with dividend re-investment is a profitable, time tested strategy. All you need is a bit of patience.
