I just heard a rumor that Ampex has laid of 10 of its 12 person group working in the MR KM group. Could someone confirm this and what does it mean. Bramson said in the last 10Q that if the KM did not show near term rewards that they would scale back the program and continue research for the long term. This could be what happened. The problems in Korea and Samsung and Maxtor( I believe) ties to Korea may have both dropped the KM programs. Chris
