You are dead wrong The 1964 civil rights amendment was 100% ideology. Liberal and African American civil rights.

We liberals have always honored a person civil rights e.g. the LGBT community.

We liberals marched with MLK and Cesar Chavez.

The 1964 civil rights act was coordinated with the liberals at every step. We stood back to back with the African Americans from day one!!

It was all conservatives that fought against the 64 civil rights act---why African Americans vote for dems---we stood with them and helped them and the pubs hurt them

Pretty damn simple and straight forward.
