Melissa, << athm sign-up >> Keep in mind that ATHM is a fiber optic solution. Very little fiber infrastructure is in place. Typical cable is coaxial. When you look at the connector to your box and it's a snap on coax, ATHM isn't there yet. They may have fiber up to the street, but implementing optical splitters and connection to your house will not be cost effective on a one by one basis. I believe companies like NLV are in the coaxial solutions, but boxes are in early building stages as are networks to support this new technology. Like you, I'm crying for speed. I envy those hooked up. Larry
