I think, MF readers would be served better if the writers did a similar "analysis" of their darling, IOM. Overall, though, the tone of the article is fairly neutral as evidenced by the last paragraph:

"...investors with the vision to make sense of this volatile industry will be taking a close look at Cymer's fourth quarter results and forward expectations."

I guess, this qualifies the majority of this thread as true visionaries...

Judging by the daily SOX chart, we are now in the upward stage of the monthly (3-4 weeks) cycle that starts with a sharp 4-5 days selloff followed by a gradual 10-15 days recovery. Thus, I am fairly positive about short-term trend - UNLESS INTC knocks everybody for the loop after the close.
