The problem, of course, is buried in your own words- you say "So, he looks at the Iran deal and immediately responds,"- without thinking or understanding, he immediately responds. Perhaps I gave you more credit than you deserve, but I would think you, when responding to something important, would research- maybe I'm wrong, and you'd just fart out some off the cuff response without thinking, if so, it's no wonder you like our Comrade Bone Spurs. However, if you would research a decision, you might want to look at what you've written about Fearless Leader- nowhere in it do you speak of thought or deliberation- it's all just "he sees, he says, he responds"- and yes, he does do that- then he regrets, responds again, often does a 180, etc.
It's a problem. It's not a feature.
"I do see him as common-sense, yes. He doesn't get mired down in the trappings of the presidency. And we have been failed by that by decades. So, he looks at the Iran deal and immediately responds, "Well, that's just fucking stupid. Who would do that?" He looks at NK and says, "If they get hungry enough they'll have no choice." So, he puts pressure on China and others to apply real pressure. He looks at Paris and says, "WTF are we getting for this money?" Nothing. So, we're out. He says to Assad, "This is a red line. Cross it and there will be consequences." So he fires a shot across the bow. He crosses it again, and he responds with a measured but stronger response."
He looks, but he does not see. He says, but he often doesn't understand his own words, or mean them. He responds- without deliberation. These are not particularly good qualities in a world leader- or a person, for that matter. |
