China To Remove JV Requirements For Foreign Automakers, Tesla Wins

I fail to see how this is a win for Tesla for two main reasons:

1) Elon has no China manufacturing experience. The problems there will dwarf his current production problems.

2) Tesla doesn’t have the financial resources to build a factory in China.

Xi threw Trump an already picked over bone as anyone of any consequence in the industry already has functioning joint ventures in China.
