I don't know where you got that, but you are misunderstanding even theory. Quantum theory e.g. has stood the test of time for 100 years. Nearly half of all modern technology uses quantum theory. Texting is based on quantum theory.

But I was not talking about theory, I was talking about science.

What are you talking about? Where are you getting your information from? Wherever it is I would suggest you stop.

Social science uses the hard science of statistics to make all sorts of predictions. I had to take about 20 units of various forms of statistics during my years taking social science courses including very sophisticated concepts like how reliability of data determines predictability.

A zillion correlations with levels of confidence have been made in the social sciences.

The same science that has proven evolution and global warming.
