RE: BGS

I would suggest using the "Advanced Search" feature and do a BGS and Value Investment search and all of my posts will come up.

I have tried to post the timeline of events for BGS that I believe are important to the BGS valuation story. I guess there is concern now by at least one analyst that BGS's recovery is taking too long (remember it's a new CEO) and now there are some revenue/expense issues in the entire sector specifically growing transportation costs.

This one analysts has focused on all the negatives. It was the last earnings report that caught my eye where BGS was Cash Flow positive even after making their div payment, paying down some debt and doing their capex investments. To do all that w/ a company that that is supposed to be in turmoil and earnings free fall.

The wildcard are these higher transportation costs that will eat into margins and w/ limited sector revenue growth may/could force management to cut the dividend. I guess the "market' may be pricing in such an event now.

If that s/d occur, BGS may/could fall to $21.00/share which was the possible s/t price target by this one analyst. I still like their core assets and the future earning potential.

I am wrong many times and these value/turnaround opportunities can take more time than expected and/or become value traps. So buyers) beware.
