Sorry to correct you again, but this is not speculation, this is based on publicly available facts.

Regarding Avago's acquisition of Broadcom in 2015, according to the Orange County Business Journal about 29% of Broadcom employees were let go at that time. And there were further layoffs after that initial round bringing the total well above the 30% I mentioned.

Regarding Avago's acquisition of Brocade in 2017, according to an 8-K SEC filing the headcount of Brocade went from 4,600 employees to 5,948 employees. This was followed by a further reduction of 230 more employees shortly thereafter. This is a 27% reduction in force. Not quite the 30% I mentioned but not hyperbolic either.
