Tim, it is your chart!! The trendline is NOT "quite strong". You don't get to make up your own facts.

Now if you want to discuss the trendline going forward, I would agree with you that THAT trendline is going steadily up. But that belongs to Trump and the republicans. Did you know the republicans hold majorities in both Houses - and the Presidency?
