Annoying problem with ProTA 3.25. For some time now, with OS Sierra and before, I have had random crashes while using the program. I just relaunch ProTa and continue. I lose all unsaved data since my last save, but I save often so it is an annoyance, not a show stopper. Yesterday, though, I had the Mother of All Crashes (MOAC). I couldn't relaunch ProTA 3.25. It would flash the welcome window, then a portfolio sheet, then crash. I used Time Machine in an attempt to recover, but no matter how far back in time I went, I still had the same problem, couldn't launch the program. I was replacing everything; the app, the ProTA folder, the plist file. Still no joy.

Finally, I held down the shift key when launching ProTA, and got the Welcome window. I entered my registered name and serial number, and ProTA finally launched. I had to re-enter my Dial Data info and my preferences were reset, but otherwise the program functioned OK.

Has anyone else experienced intermittent crashing with ProTA or even the MOAC? I guess not since I haven't seen any posts.

I suspect a problem with ProTA in memory management, but also suspect the OS crash handling software.

I have installed a pristine copy of the ProTA 3.25 app (one downloaded from BeeSoft a long time ago), but haven't been using it long enough to see if the problem is solved.

Would appreciate any feedback/comments.

Thanks
