Yes, we see that with Comey, Clinton, McCabe, Rice, Lynch, Brennan and some others.

If somebody makes a mistake to a confirmed liar who leaks the lie illegally, is it a lie or a mistake and how would the confirmed liar testify to it when he's going to jail for lying and leaking?
