Hock was intending to make Qualcomm a success not a failure. Instead we got Paul and co setting out to destroy Qualcomm value by keeping it as a personal toy and cash flow, then also conspiring against shareholders who they were supposed to represent by persuading the USA security people and Big D to take Qualcomm prisoner.

Big mistake by everyone except Hock.

Now USA can't leverage a bigger and better Qualcomm into ancillary related development work for government purposes.

The way it's going Qualcomm will not even exist and USA will have to go cap in hand to Made in China R&D people such as Huawei, ZTE and whoever to get top secret security work done. Good luck with that.

I'm not really surprised after a couple of decades of such woes.

Back to QCOMs natural home in the 40s.
