Republicans can't raise taxes because fox and talk radio won't let them. When Dems raise taxes they lose power the very next year. Our government is crippled and I don't see how we fix it as long as the gop exists. At some point Dems will stop doing the hard votes like bailing out banks, raising the debt ceiling and raising taxes. When that happens (and it will) the dollar and markets will collapse and within hours banks will close. The US will cease to exist. We don't need Nazis or ISIS to take us down. We have republicans.
