Just watched a military analyst on CNN talk about the far right far left controlling the country and what we need is middle ground.

This moderate, middle ground idea is my #1 pet peeve. People think the middle ground provides the best answers.

The best answers are where they are found. There is no middle ground in science or logic. Which are usually the best answers to problems.

Or myths and dogma for that matter. which are usually the worst answers to problems.

The left by and large, makes its decisions based on science and reason, and the right by and large, makes its decisions on myth and dogma.

So I assume the middle would be combining science and logic with myth and dogma?

Well while that would improve the right wing's ideas it will just cause the left wing to make mistakes, like "just say no to drugs, or abstinence sex ed, etc"

It is always best to analyze things from the point of view of science and reason.
