I doubt very much they would get involved absent some form of constitutional crisis along the lines of Congress impeaching and convicting (which I also doubt will happen) combined with Trump claiming it was improper and refusing to step down (which I consider even less likely). Or perhaps a vote to impeach followed by a vote to convict that had some clear procedural error (so less of a constitutional crisis but still a refusal by Trump to leave).
