The Republicans have been pulling that bullshit for 50 years.

What they have been doing for 50 years is bankrupting the country with tax cuts for the rich and then borrowing money to give to the military industrial complex and the oligarchs.

Bush even ran his wars off budget. I am not sure how that works, but what I have read.

That has been there only agenda. When do you ever see Republicans show concern , or humanity for the poor or even middle class? Never, that is all left up to the dems.

And they would love to privatize everything from jails to the VA to medicare and medicaid so the rich can steal even more money.

And the poor people who support them have been duped by feeding their worst fears and prejudices and insecurity e.g. liberals have always been the best friend of the poor, and working person.
