Personally, I would never own BP... 2nd chances are one thing, but they’ve had multiple 2nd chances and from what I saw in the time between Deepwater Horizon, and my retirement last year, I saw no indication IMO that anything has changed in that org. Reminds me of Zuckerburg repeatedly promising to fix data privacy, but even after 2011 consent decree required changes, FB did nothing it turns out... nothing... the stuff Zuckerburg is saying they’ll do now is stuff the consent decree required 7 years ago and still nothing was done...

BP platforms are still the last place anyone I know wants to spend time on even as a contractor... with possible exception of low-budget indie platforms in So. China sea, basically manned with slave labor.

I never told you or anyone not to invest in BP, only that I choose not to and why... even my mentor, chowder owns BP... no problem... I guess people who don’t experience living/working on X’s platforms vs Y’s cannot know the visceral differences... I just know I am glad i’ll never have to go out to one again, whereas there are platforms I used to look forward to going out to...

To each their own, and use or flush what I post as you see fit... and I was not aware we had such differences that you apparently have decided we are in opposition on all things... if true, I apologize and will try not to stick my nose in your business and/or upset you — I really had no idea...
