I am tremendously consistent in the TV news I watch. Sickeningly, in fact. On Sundays I watch ABC, NBC, FOX, and 60-Minutes. Period.

On weekdays,

- I usually have CNN on from 2-4 pm, although it is just as filler noise and if I'm busy I will commonly listen instead to Beethoven sonatas or concertos, Chopin Nocturnes, or Liszt Hungarian Rhapsodies instead.

- I normally (almost daily) watch Bret Baier show on Fox at 5pm CST, which is the most truthful TV news broadcast day in, day out. I often take a nap for 1/2 of that show.

- I will put on CNN in the evening and listen to Erin, AC, and if in a really sour mood, Don Lemon, although it is pretty much like listening to a KKK meeting in reverse. I often get all the CNN I can take and switch to rock music in the nature of Pink Floyd or traditional blues as I work or screw off at the computer.

- Twice a week in the evening we go over to the casino and play video poker for a couple hours depending on how much free money they give us.

Very dull life, but that's how it is for now. News is turned off no later than 10pm unless there is some current event. I do watch Fox hard-news coverage because it is the fairest on television by a wide margin. But you find no absolute truth in any of them.
