Let me give my overview of the thesis of the right wing threat as I see it.

It is common knowledge that the Republicans have been using the Lee Atwater Southern strategy to win the racist vote in the country for 50 years. This is a cynical and barbarian way to win elections.

Now Trump has added the Latino to the African American as the scapegoats for problems he has drummed up sold as fact and appealing to their fear, to consolidate his conservative base to vote with fear and loathing.

The increase in Trumps 42% shows me some people on the edge are moving into the right wing for tribal reasons based on blind right wing cultural bigoted beliefs of many aspects that they see threatening their way of life. Blacks, Latinos and liberals.
