Somebody asked him about what he thought on Vietnam. He was responding a bit hesitantly, saying that his fund did not yet own any Vietnames stock because the effectively have no market there yet (at least for foreigners). Only held other Asian stocks with a relatively high share of Vietnam business to it and had 80% cash if I remember correctly, could be wrong). Guess he wasn't too convinced of himself... Mobius BTW was rather positive for Thailand, saying total Thai market cap of about $40 bn was ridiculously low. They have been buying into the decline there. He documented it with graphs. He was also a bit concerned about a possible devaluation of the continental China currency (the Yuan or Wuan or something?). In any case, please ask your Vietnamese friend occasionally what's going on there. Greetings, Thomas
