I'm not going to waste a lot of time on this subject since the numbers are so horribly against you.

Using constant dollars in 1991, the end of the Cold War we spent $591 billion. Today, we're spending more than when the USSR existed or $700 billion.

Even the 91 numbers are insane. There's little reason to think Russian citizens wouldn't have voted communists out of power regardless of how much we spent. Free elections ended the USSR, not our spending.
