Please do enlighten me as to why you yourself engaged in borrowing from and paying interest to yourself. Not real interest I know...but I'm guessing you did it because it does in fact create wealth for yourself, and it does so despite as you note having the interest paid on one side exactly equal the interest received on the other side. That is, when you get down in the weeds and consider all the details, rather than looking at it form 10K feet, it actually has some economic benefit, hence it creates wealth for you. No different than what the Gov is doing.
