I honestly don't know nor does it matter to me at all... it's a natural food taken directly from the hives at the bee farm, the pollen is still in the honey... i never like getting stuck on some diagnostic label, they only get in the way, paleo is just a word...

Maybe someone else could give you a better answer... I only know it has lots of good things in it and it's clean and pure...
