Jeff ... going out on a limb (as if I've never done that) and say that at the 6 pole If a pony isn't in the frist 10 he won't be on top at the end .... further .... I think that at the 4 pole the ones in the front six have a distinct advantage today and... Flame can go wiretowire ... I'd LOVE that but I do agree with you on Mendy ... how good is he ...mayhaps one of the greatest of all time .. could be as he is surely an imposing looking/performing animal and should he win here will be near sho-in for the triple. I'm not much on Apollo ... just can't stand a horse in this chaotic massive field knowing what the hell is happening without any experience ..... I've seen many many in the past get that deer in the headlight look coming down the lane with all that noise and the bumping and lotsa horses around ..... gotta have a bottom or so I feel. I'd be full on Moon IF he had more tests .... that drift in the AK Derby bothers me greatly, especially with the joc not trying to correct it at all .... must have felt that trying to straighten Moon out would disrupt the trip but he can't do that today ... get his ass run over /// lol I recall Bodemiester in the past ..... two more preps and he wins the Derby the way I see iit ..... and I loved the Bode with my money too ... don't regret it .... Flame isn't nearly as good but with the bit or rain, the inside post, the clear into the first turm and the banging going on behind him .... boyoboy .... love me a 50/1
