With all dues respect, that was a rhetorical question. I don't need anyone to explain to me what a madman and criminal Trump is or the Republicans supporting him, nor do most Americans.

Let me elaborate a bit more. I think I know the answer and it is about the evolution of consciousness. Go back and look at what our thinking and norms and mores were like 300 years ago, a hundred years ago.

Just a 100 years ago women around the world had virtually no right and could not even vote, or attend medical school in Germany where there were NO women docs. They were considered to have children's minds and it was the conservatives that felt that way just as they did abut minorities. and women could not even leave a marriage where husbands beat them.

Now fast forward to today and contrast our norms and mores.

The liberals led the way to the modern age with the conservatives coming decades later kicking and screaming all the way.

There is no compromising facts and logic.

As I keep saying the liberal democrats are the party of facts and reason and the Republican party is the party of myth and dogma, so the only answer is the Republicans need to be educated to modern standards.

It is that simple and straight forward and does not need an esoteric answer.

Cheers

Well, I know that, but why??

If you are truly interested in the "why" you could start by reading this book: righteousmind.com

Anything by Jonathan Haidt on the topic is worth reading.
