I made it to Medicare. My coverage started May 1. I haven't had a drug or prescription plan in over 30 years till last week. I went on the Humana Walmart $20 a month Part D plan. I went on Cigna's Plan G supplemental coverage. I got a $25 year Gym membership included. I use the swimming pool, suana and steam room a few times a week.
Now I have to figure out whether it is worth it for me to take SS at 66 or wait till I am 70. I don't need the money now. But I wonder what will be left of SS by the time I am 70. If Trump gets reelected, I can see Medicare being reduced to almost nothing. That is why I am still keeping my private medical insurance.
