Hi Dan,
Just found this thread. I have owned (sort of) this dog for, can it really be FIVE YEARS? I was reading back posts and you were all joking about if someone would admit to owning warrants. Well, I am one of those suckers. My broker really talked this company up, telling me that he had his kid's college money in this stock. I fell for it. The even worse part was I didn't even realize that what he purchased for me were WARRANTS, not stock. When I changed brokers, my new statements came out with "wts" after the stock name, which was the first I suspected. Well, the warrants were supposed to close out near the end of 1996. I received a notice that they were being extended a year. That year ended, and VCAR is still on my statements with some value attached. I talked to my broker today and he said the warrants were extended again until Jan 6, 1998, which is, of course, already past again. There is still a small value attached to my account. I have had some experience with options, but I sure as heck don't know what is happening here.
