Paul, thanks for excerpt from WSJ. You know what, I can live with $102.00 for 1998,untill Merced rev start kicking in in 99. As for flat revenue for Q1, this is always the case for most companies who business is somewhat cyclical. For PC companies and microprocessor companies normally Q4 is the best quarter and beating that in Q1 is almost impossible. If they can maintain same revenue for Q1 as Q4,i consider this as very good news. I assume analysts knows this fact (and i am sure you do too) and allowances are usually made for Q1.Just my two bits worth.
