If Dr. Diwan thinks that NNVC has been a successful public traded business to date - then he's an even worse businessman that I have thought he might be. He certainly appears to be a solid engineer and scientist, but business sense - that's not something borne out by results to date.

Do you believe Dr. Anil Diwan considers Nanoviricides "successful"?
You are asking absolutely the wrong question here.

In order for a public traded business to be considered successful it must have a product or service to sell, market that product, and generate profit for the owners of that public traded business.

I've been willing to cut NNVC some slack to date as by definition almost no pre-clinical stage biotech company has a product or service it can sell until after getting into and (usually) completing a clinical trial or two. That fact kind of comes with the 'pre-clinical' package.

The better measuring stick for companies in the 'pre-clinical' stage is how well they are meeting milestones so they can deliver a product or service into clinical testing. A few facts then jump out at us as regards NNVC being a success:

Many milestones missed or delayed with either bad or no explanation. Running out of working capital far more rapidly than any of us find comfortable. The front-man for the company recently unexpectedly retired, and with no new CEO waiting in the wings to take over the next stages of company development. And we have been waiting for many months now for some completed description of that last round of animal testing, leading into the last sets of hoops needed to enter into clinical testing.

NNVC has (again, to date) only been a success from the standpoint of keeping TheraCour and Dr. Diwan's private business interests funded. NNVC has not been a successful business.
