As I told @JRubinBlogger of @washingtonpost, it is very unlikely that Trump will be able to fight a subpoena in court. If he doesn't want to answer Mueller's questions, he'll have to take the Fifth.

18 justices, 4 still on court, have ruled in one form or another that presidents are not above the law or immune to ordinary legal processes. No president has prevailed in the argument that he and documents in his control are exempt from a subpoena. wapo.st
