Why can't LU reach an agreement with ASND, and even announce animminent merger effective 10/1/98 or whenever the "pooling ofinterest" restriction is lifted later this year? John or Maverick, You may correct me on this but I believe it is not permitted to even have a letter of intent for an aquisition using a pooling of interests until 10/1/98. Anyone know for sure? Glenn
