kemble, some of the bears are really missing out on what's happening with asia and price drops. the component costs are dropping drastically. but, companies like dell and cpq are keeping the profit as long as they can. they don't just drop their prices. they keep the profit til the weaker compnaies have to cut and then they will drop some but not all the profit they have been making. then in other cases, they will drop prices alittle again keeping most the extra profit to squeeze the weakies. the weakies are already dying out. closures happening every week world wide of pc mfg'ers.
