Since you didn't say anything about the article I have no idea what your point is. If you're complaining about intellectuals getting some things wrong, then the opposite is to vote for morons and hope their mistakes are better than a reasoned thought process. I'd suggest the gop has dumbed itself out of the real world. I can cite numerous examples. They don't have a health care plan after promising one for seven years. Why? Because they knew republican voters would never ask to see their plan and never hold them accountable for lying for seven years. You really can't get any dumber than that. The gop promised us balanced budgets under Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43 and Trump. Each gave us will give us record deficits. Okay, I guess your side can get dumber...this is an example. There is nothing normal about being wrong all the time.
