I'll admit it's a possibility, except for two things. First, Trump has many lawyers and he seems to hire them on whims. Guiliani is the latest retained on a whim. I seriously doubt Trump vets these guys with any diligence. That just isn't his style, as we all have seen to our dismay. Secondly, have you met many lawyers? Especially the really good ones that protect politicians and very rich people? Most of them are good, because they are ruthless and are willing to do all sorts of things for their clients. The richer the client, the more immoral the lawyer. At least in my book, lawyers are a cancer, just like wall street traders, and politicians. They are just darned crooked. Cohen crooked? Don't doubt it for a second. But you again, just because you know an unethical person, doesn't mean you've committed a crime.
