I accept the Palio logic based on man's prehistory diet and without a doubt, people are not equipped to deal with many added chemicals today.

Our hunter-gatherer ancestors though were probably not very selective about what they ate and survival depended on raising offspring to an age they could fend for themselves.

That said, if comparisons were made to today, Inuit people (Eskimos) have had a high fat diet, which is probably excessive and as a group haven't fared well for longevity.

We probably need less fat and more vegetation, based on presumed African origins.
