@FUBHO re Reuters CC posts & Macroeconomics under current POTUS.
You remarked here Message 31606807 that "Thomson Reuters Street Events has released that "Edited Transcript of SQNS earnings conference call or presentation 2-May-18" every day for three days."

Reporting Season is closing and two giants in unlicensed spectrum products did well. Ubiquiti performed above expectations and Broadcom did just 'OK'.

All financial managers are looking for key words and balance sheet entries from which to spot Big Events Horizons. When they appear, managers attack like barracudas.
A couple quarters ago it was on the Intel CC when new CFO Swan stated lowered OPEX and increased revs were dominating 2H17 which brought INTC into a new season of SP gains.

@J_S_G_ re "I don't think we'll know how to rate BK"
You have your metrics, I have mine. Peace.
Regarding the stock price performance that BK is benefiting from good balance sheet and operational engineering, did you notice the statements from Robert that the $700M write-downs for re-org are over and 2H opex will be lower?
Trust me, sir.
Every capital manager in the world saw those words and the little guys are getting it eventually.

You & I have been watching Sequans for several years and we both know all too well that GKaram has an outstanding record developing tech and product and getting it certified.
However his sales record is worse than bad. It is worse than shitty bad.
And sales execution as judged by actual LOSS of announced sales has been catastrophic.

HOWEVER, all of that technical execution means this little tech company whose SP is so depressed is also a POSSIBLE turn-around darling of tomorrow.
Caveat Emptor.
There are a lot of IFs in that hypothetical turn-around and as outsiders we cannot know what headwinds our partners are facing in the sale of Sequans solutions.

I have an outspoken stance regarding Market Bully activity in filing an EUTC complaint (AT.40484) against an UNNAMED DEFENDANT and I perceive fear in the market - fear of retaliation if Sequans solution is used versus the UNNAMED DEFENDANT's.

But Money Managers can't know the inside story either. Thus they can only rely on market intelligence they have, and CC comments rank at the top because those comments can move markets in addition to revealing future balance sheet results.

It is in that view that I posted SQNS 1Q18 CC "Buried Comments". Message 31598144
And it is with all of ^THAT^ in mind that I point out that of all the past CCs you and I have endured (suffered?), none have had an Analyst comment with a compliment regarding an impending "Hockey Stick" trend.

^THAT^, Sir, is a big remark for a little small cap stock at nearly a two-year low. It is exactly the sort of tip that investors look for, like the 'Black Swan' comment above from Intel's 2Q17 CC.

Then when the other comments are included regarding strategic negotiations, Go-to-market, China, Feature phone, more...
either GKaram out-did himself with hyperbole or there is an impending revenue growth phase beginning... fer real this time.

We all know very well that as ZTE and Huawei are affected by POTUS policies, the market doesn't shrink, it just changes to reflect new winners. Other brands will take the place of ZTE and Huawei in our market. And it is likely that users of Spreadtrum IC solutions will also come under scrutiny, and that will give buyers some hesitation even before formal action.

For Sequans customers, this is a market opening.

A company like Reuters LOVES to be the Bearer of Good News to gain followers.

I hope it comes true this time.

Sequans needs a Hero. Will it come as increased sales or by buyout from the likes of Ubiquiti?

Time will tell
