Retirement greatly diminishes the need to buy new clothes. My closet is still overstocked with the dress shirts and ties I wore to work every day, more than 15 years ago. I've given away most, but not all. I rarely put on a neck tie anymore, but I wear a dress shirt (and dress slacks) to church every week. Otherwise, they never come off the hanger. Living in Southern Arizona finds me dressed like the natives.... shorts and sandals.
