fresh costs more? where do you live? 100% of our fresh vegetables and fruit have to be shipped in by truck and then by ferry. yes, they cost more but there is no option. canned to me is not an option. frozen is the next best to fresh. the only canned vegetable i use are tomatoes when i make cabbage soup.
