Yes.. Michael is a straight up guy with over 600,000 people following his Facebook Page.. We have an interesting history as, by sheer chance, I met his future Thai wife in Chang Mai when I needed to convert Thai Baht for US Dollars before I went on a visa run and two week trip through Laos.. I was hanging out with him during a later visit and he wanted to introduce me to his wife.. He didn't tell me where she worked, but as we stepped near her bank office, I asked if her name was "so and so" and he turned around with a serious "how the f*ck do you know her name?" look on his face.. and I told him my story from the previous year... LOL!! Total Synchronicity that day.. Gotta admit I was also asking myself "what are the odds?" We remain friends to this day, thought I don't chat with him much given the time difference and location.. He's go some interesting books lined up if he can find the right publishing venue. One of them is about the Chinese inspired "Comfort Women" narrative that most people have heard about, and he totally debunks the prevailing narrative. Imperial Japan committed a lot of atrocities, but setting up a systemic institution for forcing women into sex slavery was not one of them.. They were prostitutes and they were paid for their "services".. The US did the same thing in Hawaii after Pearl Harbor.. Hawk
